Privacy
We are committed to protecting your privacy. We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully (in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998).
We collect information about you for 2 reasons: firstly, to process your order and second, to provide you with the best possible service.
We will not e-mail you in the future unless you have given us your consent.
We will give you the chance to refuse any marketing email from us or from another trader in the future.
The type of information we will collect about you includes:
- your name
- address
- phone number
- email address
- credit/debit card details (used only for completion of orders and not stored by wheniwasakid.co.uk).
We will never collect sensitive information about you without your explicit consent. The information we hold will be accurate and up to date. You can check the information that we hold about you by emailing us. If you find any inaccuracies we will delete or correct it promptly.
The personal information which we hold will be held securely in accordance with our internal security policy. If we intend to transfer your information outside the EEA (European Economic Area) we will always obtain your consent first. We may use technology to track the patterns of behaviour of visitors to our site. This can include using a 'cookie' which would be stored on your browser. You can usually modify your browser to prevent this happening. The information collected in this way can be used to identify you unless you modify your browser settings.

Returns Policy
Due to the bespoke & handmade nature of most of our products we are unable to offer refunds. If the item arrives damaged, you will be sent a replacement item, exchanges will be arranged dependant upon the individual case. Exchanges and replacements will be made on return of original item undamaged and in the original packaging.
Please look carefully at lead times of the item you are ordering and please allow for extra time particularly if you are ordering a bespoke phrase on your product. Please note that all of our work is made to order piece by piece. We keep nothing pre-made in stock so express delivery is not normally available. Please be mindful that handmade products of this nature take time and lead times are only guide especially during seasonal shopping periods. Most items have various stages of manufacture, assembly and hand finishing which CANNOT be speeded up without compromising the finish.
If you are ordering an item to go direct to your gift recipent please make sure that your recipent knows to expect the delivery. We cannot be held responsible for packages that go back to the post office for collection
Terms & Conditions
By purchasing anything through www.copperdot.co.uk you, the customer, are indicating your agreement to the following:
1. That all of our products displayed on the site are available for purchase immediately.
2. Our real-time credit card processing system will authorize and process your payment online as you watch.
3. Card details are not stored.
4. Orders will be confirmed by e-mail.
5. If payment is made by another method goods will only be dispatched once payment is received in full.
6. Once payment is received and authorized title to the goods passes to the customer.
7. If a credit card is used for payments it must be your own card.
8. That all sales are deemed to be made and performed in the UK and the governing law of all contracts so arising is English law.
9. Prices are subject to fluctuation without notice, however the total price paid by a consumer will not vary after their order has been placed.
10. Prices are shown inclusive of VAT (applicable to UK and EU residents), but exclusive of carriage costs. The shopping cart system adds these charges as appropriate.
11. Any customs and handling charges, or local sales taxes which may be levied by authorities in the destination country are beyond our control and we do not accept responsibility for these.
12. We promise not to sell, share or exchange e-mail addresses which are passed to us. Neither will we send you e-mails which you have not requested.
13. We guarantee to refund the price of any non customised or non bespoke designed order item returned to us in its original condition within 7 days of the customers receipt of their order. Upon receipt of the return we will issue the refund within 28 days. Delivery charges will be refunded only if the return is a result of our error, for example if the product was damaged or defective or the order was incorrectly fulfilled. If a customer intends to make a return they should contact us; we will e-mail a return authorization to the customer. We cannot accept responsibility for lost returns and therefore recommend that the customer uses recorded delivery or an insured carrier.
14. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
